The child was injured Monday afternoon after an incident on a freeway in Solana County, NBC KNTV branch officials said.
The incident happened on East Route 80 near the Alamo Drive in Vacaville, KNTV was told by the California Road Patrol. What led to the incident is unknown, but the CHP does not believe the injuries were fatal.
