A man from Santa Ana has been arrested on suspicion of murder in the April fatal shooting of a Hawthorne man in Pomona, authorities said Monday, May 16th.
On Thursday, May 12, 36-year-old Felip De Jesus Arias-Telles was arrested in Anaheim in connection with the April 19 murder of 30-year-old Joshua Ellis near the intersection of Arboled Way and Holt Avenue, near Garfield Park, the press said. -release of the Pomona Police. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office has accused Arias Telles of murder, police said.
The possible motive was not immediately known.
On April 19, officers responded to a call about the shooting around 1 a.m. and found that Alice had received gunshot wounds, authorities said. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and confirmed that Ellis had died from his injuries.
