Vicki Whitea former prison guard accused of aiding and abetting the murder of a suspect Casey White escaped from Alabama prison, had a gun in his hand when a police chase ended in a car accident.
The Evansville Indiana Police Department in Illinois just released footage from the capture camera on Monday, and you see Casey being taken away when an officer drives up to their overturned pickup truck.
Vicki is still in the car, and when officers try to figure out how to free her from the wreckage, they note that she has a firearm in her hand with her finger on the trigger and she is still breathing despite the gunshot wound.
In a few minutes, police can finally pull Vicki’s limp body through the hatch and out of the truck, but not before snatching the gun from her hands.
As we reported … Casey and Vicki ran away after she allegedly helped him escape from Alabama jail last month, and they were monitored and prosecuted by the authorities in Evansville, the chase ended when U.S. marshals rammed the car in which Casey and Vicki were driving.
Vicky then allegedly shot herself in the head, and this video ends before she is taken to a local hospital … where she died from her injuries.
Casey was not injured in the crash and is being extradited back to Alabama, where he is suspected of murder … new mug shot Monday and frowns.
