Alligator interrupts classes at Louisiana High School

The Louisiana Police Department responded Tuesday at a high school citing an alligator on campus. Police say the exams in the first hour were interrupted when around 10 a.m. an alligator was spotted through a classroom window. An alligator four and a half feet long was detained by the animal control unit. The alligator was transferred to Louisiana wildlife and fisheries, ensuring its safe release back into the wild.
