An attempted robbery of an invasion of a house in Stockton leads to a shootout

According to Stockton police, a shootout between the victim of the attempted break-in and three related gunmen led to the arrest of one of them. A 23-year-old man was driving past his parents’ home in Quarter 6700 on Everest Avenue around 5:40 a.m. He noticed three men waiting to break into the house, the Stockton Police Department said. The man clashed with three possible robbers with firearms, and a shootout ensued between the two sides, police said. The three men escaped and went to the hospital due to injuries. Two men, one 25 years old, the other 20, were hospitalized for treatment, and 19-year-old Kailen Guy was arrested on charges of attempting to break into the house. police said. The charges against the other two were transferred to the San Joaquin County Attorney’s Office. All three are expected to survive the injuries, police said. The release of the police department does not say whether the person who collided with the troika was injured in the shootout.
