Eric Fleischmann, the famous coach known as Eric the Coach, has died aged 53, it has been confirmed.

Fitness personality dies unexpectedly at home in Glendale Californiaon Thursday morning.

“It is with broken hearts that we announce that Eric Philipp Fleischmann passed away unexpectedly on the morning of November 24, 2022,” read a statement from his official Instagram account.

“His wife Alicia, son, parents and close friends/family are deeply saddened by this event. Eric made many lives better. He was a beacon of light, hope and love.

The statement concluded: “This loss is devastating and we appreciate your thoughts and prayers.”

Fleischman has worked with famous clients including Kirstie Alley, Jason Priestley, Patrick Schwarzenegger and others.

He was also known for training music stars such as Def Leppard, Journey and Fall Out Boy.

The cause of death has not yet been announced.

Fleishman is survived by his wife Alicia and son Henry.

Just a week ago, Fleischmann was spotted looking fit and healthy in the Cayman Islands, where he was at The Club Fitness Center at Cricket Square.

“We arrived at Grand Cayman @theclubcricketsquare and @coachtimheath welcomed us with open arms and HUGE biceps,” he wrote in the post.
