About tHealthy West Orange Arts and Heritage Center in Auckland

The Healthy West Orange Center for the Arts and Heritage is committed to preserving Auckland’s past, present and future. The center supports the mission Healthy West Orange, a mass movement to inspire West Orange County to become the healthiest community in the country. Working with its partners, the Center will provide important tools and social connections to help residents eat well, stay active and enjoy life. This project is partly funded by a $ 1 million grant from West Orange County Health, as well as funding from the Orange County Government through the Arts and Culture Program and countless other donors.

West Orange County Health (WOHD) is an independent special health district, established in 1949 by the Florida Legislature and governed by a 16-member volunteer council appointed by the Governor of Florida.
