Exercise group AN Irvine is looking for new members to join them to become active and healthy.
The Irvine Running Club participates in most Scottish road races and cross-country competitions during the season, however there are a few members who run just for fun and to keep fit.
The group says that new members, regardless of their standard, are always welcome and reassure friendly greetings from all club members.
The Irvine Cross-Country Club consists of runners of all ages and levels from across the area, and the group has launched its own Couch to 5k event.
A spokesman said: “If you want to get the most out of summer weather, challenge yourself or just have fun, look no further! Our program from the couch at 5k is back due to popular demand!
“Come and join one of our friendly support groups led by trained jogging leaders.
“If you can walk fast in 30 minutes, we try to get you to run 5km in about 10 weeks.
“All you need is comfortable clothes and a pair of sneakers (and a useful bra for women).
“We charge £ 1 a week to cover costs and ask you to register with JogScotland (free).”
The Irvine Cross-Country Club is also organizing a special family open day so everyone can try and try themselves on Saturday, May 28 from 12:00 to 15:00 ”
