John Ganderson stands for Sheriff of San Diego County –
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – John Handerson is serving as the sheriff of San Diego County, working to provide safe parking spaces and a variety of housing options for the homeless.
Handerson worked in law enforcement for 31 years, starting as a spy researcher and then reaching the position of investigating district attorney.
Unlike other candidates, he does not believe in campaign donations and is committed to spreading word of mouth.
Ganderson himself joined Jason Ostel of KUSI on “Good Morning, San Diego” to discuss the details of his campaign.
He is vying for the post against San Diego County Sheriff Kelly Martinez, Jonathan Peck, John Hemerling and Dave Myers.
