
Training on forest fires was held at the Kukamonga Ranch – Daily Bulletin
Firefighters from all over San Bernardino County have been training on what could come in the fire season as the Rancho-Cucamonga Fire Department on Tuesday, May 17, held a two-day exercise to prepare for forest fires, the department said in a press release.

The exercise took place on Tuesday in the area of Klusman Avenue and Archibald Avenue and simulated a vegetation fire. The exercise involves firefighters working on fires, firefighters protecting homes in the area, and a command post on incidents at Heritage Park.
Training will continue on Wednesday.
Residents were warned they could see firefighters, public safety vehicles and helicopters for two days, and were advised to send questions or concerns to the Kukamonga Ranch Fire District by calling 1-909-477-2770 or emailing RCFire@CityofRC.us.
