A car with fireworks caught fire in Hesperia on Saturday morning – VVNG.com

HESPERIA, CA (VVNG.com) – Many residents of Hesperia were awakened by the sound of fireworks early Saturday morning.

It happened on May 14, 2022 around 4:30 am in the Main Street and Oakwood Avenue areas on an empty field next to Magics Auto Sales.

The footage from the fire surveillance cameras obtained by VVNG shows a large glow, accompanied by many fireworks.

The San Bernardino County Fire responded and put out the fire and said there was at least a family package of fireworks with mortars.

After the fire was extinguished, a man and a woman arrived at the scene to pick up the items left before the car was towed.

No one was injured, the investigation into the car fire continues. Anyone with information is asked to call 760-947-1500.
