A cellphone went out on the Central Coast on Sunday
Some residents of the Central Coast lost mobile service on Sunday. There have been several reports of cell service outages in Monterey County. It seemed to affect several carriers. In an email, Monterey County officials said they don’t know what caused the outage, but reminded people if they can’t reach 911 in an emergency to go to the nearest police or fire station. We are working to find out what happened and will have more information as it becomes available.
