A man from Santa Ana has been arrested on suspicion of murder in the April fatal shooting of a Hawthorne man in Pomona, authorities said Monday, May 16th.

On Thursday, May 12, 36-year-old Felip De Jesus Arias-Telles was arrested in Anaheim in connection with the April 19 murder of 30-year-old Joshua Ellis near the intersection of Arboled Way and Holt Avenue, near Garfield Park, the press said. -release of the Pomona Police. The possible motive was not immediately known.

On April 19, officers responded to a call about the shooting around 1 a.m. and found that Alice had received gunshot wounds, authorities said. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and confirmed that Ellis had died from his injuries.
