A 15-year-old girl was struck by lightning on Monday night while at her home in Pennsylvania, firefighters confirmed. At least five homes in the area have been hit by lightning, including the house where the teenage girl was injured. Surkville Fire Department Captain Keith Gray said lightning passed through the girl’s little finger and came out of her left leg. Jayana Scaramutso said she had taken an ambulance course and everything was fine. “Suddenly I hear a loud thunder and I see lightning and I see it reflected off my mirror and suddenly I feel like a shock in my little finger and then it rises over my body and comes out through my leg,” he said. She said the paramedics took her blood pressure, which was normal, as well as an ECG. She said the ECG was sent to a local hospital. “I’m a little scared, still in shock.
