Alligator interrupts classes at Louisiana High School

The Louisiana Police Department responded Tuesday at a high school citing an alligator on campus. Police say the exams in the first hour were interrupted when around 10 a.m. an alligator was spotted through a classroom window. An alligator four and a half feet long was detained by the animal control unit. The alligator was transferred to Louisiana wildlife and fisheries, ensuring its safe release back into the wild. Police say the first-hour exams were interrupted when around 10 a.m. the alligator was spotted through a classroom window.

Four and a half feet of alligator were maintained by Animal Control.

The alligator was transferred to Louisiana wildlife and fisheries, ensuring its safe release back into the wild.
