At least eight dead after two pango boats capsize near Blacks Beach in California

At least eight people have died after two pango boats capsized near Blacks Beach California late on a Saturday night.

San Diego Fire and Rescue responded to a call at 11:30 p.m. at a beach in San Diego County, but the rescue effort turned into a recovery effort.

Two helicopters were dispatched to search for victims, but SDFD said conditions were too foggy.

SDFD will resume recovery efforts Sunday morning.

They told ABC 10 News that they hope conditions will improve and plan to call in additional crews to assist.
