
At the airport I got written up in loungewear – people say they’re mad that I look so good
A CHALLENGE young woman has hit the internet after she opened up about how the dress code was enforced on her at the airport.
Her loungewear may not have been suitable for travel, but people online said they were just mad that she looked so good.
Angelique (@badgalangie) is a TikTok creator from the Bay Area, California.
The 23-year-old girl is incredibly transparent on the platform about the events that are happening in her life, good and bad.
This thought process extends to the two videos, in which she briefly explained that she performed clothes at the airport.
U the first videoshe says nothing while sitting in the car wearing stylish black sunglasses and looking at the camera with a worried look.
Towards the end of the video, she pulled back the curtains and smiled as she sang along to the background music.
The caption above the video read: “Guess who got the airport passcode.”
She also underlined the statement with her video, where she wrote: “just me?
Viewers were genuinely interested in what the outfit looked like, so Angelica published the second part with the reveal.
In the village second videoshe posted a photo of the trendy loungewear, consisting of an army green sports bra and matching sporty biker shorts.
The content creator also shared more about the situation that occurred while boarding her flight from Maui, Hawaii to California.
“I’ve worn outfits like this to the airport several times. I never followed a dress code. I probably wore worse things,” she said.
Apparently, an airport employee stopped her after scanning her boarding pass and asked if she had a sweater to cover herself, which she did not.
Another woman told her she needed to cover her entire sternum to get on the plane.
“Literally, we had to stop the line. She made me get out of line. She did it in front of everyone. I had to go through my boyfriend’s bag, pull out a big T-shirt… put it on,” she said. added.
Angelica felt there was a double standard considering the three people she saw with bare chests and bellies in short tops after she sat down.
Many people came to the TikTok user’s defense in the comments section of the video.
“Public humiliation, you can be sued for that,” one person said.


“She’s just mad because you’re good looking,” added another.
“Airline employees are always so angry. For example, why is it like that,” a fan interjected.
