The man who broke in Nancy Pelosiat home and attacked her husband Pavel is currently facing criminal charges … after telling police he was there to break her kneecaps … according to a newly filed criminal complaint.

A 42-year-old man was charged Monday David DePaipe …and according to court documents, he tried to kidnap the Speaker of the House of Representatives — bringing zip ties, duct tape and rope to their San Francisco home.

When DePape arrived, the documents say, he asked Paul to see his wife, but was told she wasn’t there … DePape then said he would sit and wait for her.

He allegedly said he was going to hold her hostage and talk to her – claiming during a police interview that if she was honest with him he would let her go … but if she lied he would break her kneecaps.

He told authorities that by breaking the speaker’s kneecaps, she would have to be taken to Congress, which would show other members that there were “consequences of action.”

DePaipe is now facing 2 charges … assaulting a family member of a US official and attempting to kidnap a US official. San Francisco prosecutors are also reported to be indicting DePepe in the next few days, and authorities have talked about attempted murder as well as other charges.

As we reported, Pavel was brutally attacked at his home in SF last week … after DePape snuck in through the back door.
