Although she’s been largely silent on the subject in the past, Beth (seen left in 2016 and right on Monday) admitted in 2008 that she was considering plastic surgery

In the past, plastic surgery specialists theorized that she’s had a facelift, as well as Botox injections and facial fillers – and while she didn’t elaborate on what work she had done last night, she finally confirmed that she had indeed changed her appearance.

Although she’s been largely silent on the subject in the past, Beth admitted to considering plastic surgery when she spoke to Extra in 2008.

At the time, she said: “Doesn’t everyone consider that? If it really starts to sag, I’ll probably start giving it a good thought.”

Speaking to the audience before presenting her with the award, Beth’s friend, designer Michael Kaplan, recalled that the Hollywood icon was once mistaken for a Sears department store employee.

He explained that they had been shopping together in Los Angeles when he told her to wait for him while he tried on some items in the dressing room.

“When I returned, she was mistaken for a clerk, and customers lined up [saying]”Miss, I have three dresses to try on.”

“Was she angry? Not in the slightest. She replied, “Dressing room number three is free.”

Many of Hollywood’s leading ladies have admitted to going under the knife over the years.

Take it For example, 85-year-old Oscar-winning actress Jane Fonda, who confirmed in her 2018 Netflix documentary Jane Fonda in Five Acts that her age-defying looks are not just down to genes.

“I’m glad I look good for my age, but I’ve had plastic surgery,” she said. “I’m not going to lie about it.”

The Barberella star explained that she was “tired of looking tired” but added: “I hate the fact that I had to physically change myself to feel okay.”

“I wish I wasn’t like that. I love old faces. I love living faces. I loved Vanessa Redgrave’s face. I wish I was braver. But I am what I am.”

The 77-year-old star made the shocking revelation while accepting the award for Most Outstanding Employee at the Costume Designers Guild Awards on Monday night in Los Angeles.

Madonna, 64, has seemingly confirmed she has had work done after fans took to social media to express their dismay at her drastically different appearance when she attended the Grammy Awards last month.

Many people called the singer “unrecognisable” after she took to the stage to present the award at the event.

She responded to the comments by sharing a photo of herself on Twitter a few days later, writing: “Look how cute I am now that the swelling has gone down from surgery. Lol, but she didn’t share any other details about the specific procedure she had.

Sharon Stone, 64, also spoke about getting the job done. She told Vogue Arabia in 2018, she regularly received botox injections at the height of her career – until she suffered a major stroke in 2001.

“There were periods of hyper-awareness where I got botox and fillers and stuff, and then I had a massive stroke and a nine-day brain haemorrhage and had to have over 300 injections of botox and fillers to get one side of my face back up, – she showed.

The “Basic Instinct” star said the incident completely changed her perspective on plastic surgery, turning it from “a lovely luxury to a massive, painful neurological necessity.”

She also told the publication that a younger man she was dating recently asked her if she would reconsider using cosmetics, to which she replied: “It would probably be very good for your ego and mine if I did it.”

She added that the relationship ended shortly after, stating: “I saw him again after that and then he didn’t want to see me again.”

“If you don’t see me for more than that, you will please find your way out.”
