Brad Pitt he may be making a movie about F1 racing, but he sure doesn’t respect the sport in real life – at least that’s what F1 Twitter is saying after dissing one of its heroes.

The A-lister has been on the ground for the past few days in Austin, where the US Grand Prix took place all weekend, but on Sunday … the guy shied away from an interview with Sky Sports. Martin Brundle … a famous former race car driver turned pundit/journalist.

Brundle, who is now well known for his web walks where he interviews celebrities (sometimes awkwardly) impromptu, personally took a bit of the cold shoulder from BP.

Now, in Brad’s defense…he didn’t answer Brundle’s questions at all – questions about the movie, which he says he can’t answer because it’s top secret – but he clearly didn’t want to talk. Seemingly nothing bad, no big deal…but some on the internet are taking offense to MB.

Brundle himself seemed concerned, telling the camera, “They know them at the pit stops” if they don’t want you talking to Brad Pitt. Users of the Bird app largely agree, saying he should respect the culture and talk to Brundle, whose interviews are par for the course on the network and who is a major contributor to F1. In other words, play ball when you’re on our field, Brad!

This isn’t the first time a celebrity has dissed Brundle – Megan Ty Stallion famously did so last year – but in this case, some believe that since Brad is literally making a movie about Formula 1 … he must know about the major players, in including Brundle, and show respect.

Outside of that salty interaction … Brad basically got the rock star treatment during his time in Texas. He’s still Hollywood’s golden boy — and that’s not going to change that.
