Lynne Spears was pictured patiently waiting to be reunited with her daughter Britney Spears near the pop singer’s house in Pudnevo California on Wednesday.

A source said the 41-year-old Grammy-winning star and her 68-year-old mother met at her mansion and spent half an hour catching up TMZ.

According to the report, the Oops!…I Did It Again singer “was receptive enough to let her into the house and spend some time catching up” during the meeting.

The meeting takes place afterwards years of discord between them stems from the long-standing guardianship Britney lived under Lynn’s husband and Britney’s father Jamie until the end of 2021.

Lynn flew from her native Louisiana to LAX early Wednesday and was taken to the residence of Britney’s manager, Cade Hudson.

From there, she is said to have taken an Uber to the home the singer shares with husband Sam Asgari, 29.

The mother-of-three, who in addition to Britney shares Brian, 46, and Jamie Lynn, 32, with ex Jamie, wore black leggings and brown wedge boots.

She threw a long black cardigan over a tight purple shirt and covered her eyes with large black sunglasses.

Lynn wore her straight black hair down and was seen wearing a pale pink outfit.

Britney knew her mother was coming, but didn’t know exactly when, the source said. Britney and her mother spent about half an hour together, the source said, noting that Asghari was also around.

A source told TMZ that Britney and her mother have been slowly improving their relationship with each other lately, and Lynn decided it was time for a personal reconciliation.

Lynn is “committed to making things right with her daughter,” a source told the publication, and Wednesday’s meeting was a step in that direction.

After Lynn left the house, Britney and her husband went for a drive, the source said.

Last fall, Britney blasted Lynn in a social media post after her mom asked her to unblock her on Instagram.

The Toxic artist wrote in October: “Mom, accept your apology and go to hell!!! And to all the doctors for screwing with my mind… I pray you all burn in hell!!! Kiss my mommy’s ass!!!!’

The story: The reunion comes after years of disagreements between the two over Brittney’s longtime custody, which Lynn’s husband and Brittney’s father, Jamie, controlled until the end of 2021.

In her first post, Britney recalled her own medical history and the traumatic experience she had with her relatives.

“For 13 years I had to see doctors every week to bring up my past that made it worse!!!” she said. “As for my entire family including my brother, sister, cousins, aunts, uncles and hell the whole audience… were either stoned or drunk off their a**es!!’

Britney said she “was a goddamn saintly mother who was afraid to move” or her father, Jamie Spears, would have put her somewhere if [she] didn’t cooperate… even in America, the land of the free!!!!’

Spears said that after her father, Jamie, did put her “in the mental ward,” no fucking mother stood up for her.

Lynn commented on one of the messages of the singer …Baby One More Time about her grievances with the family, asked Britney for forgiveness and to unblock her.

“I’m so sorry for your pain!” she said. “I regretted it for many years! I love you and miss you so much!’ she said. “Please unblock me so I can talk to you in person! Britney, deep down you know how much I love and miss you! I’m sorry for everything that offended you!’

In August 2022, Lynn shared a photo of herself laughing with Britney in the woods, along with a caption in which she said she did everything she could to support her and that she hoped to have a face-to-face conversation with Britney to smooth things over.

The reunion comes about a year and a half after Britney refused to see Lynn after she flew from her native Louisiana to Los Angeles in an attempt to make amends.
