The National Weather Service is forecasting weaker storms through Wednesday, bringing an inch of rain near the coast and valley and two inches in the mountains and foothills.

More snow is also expected, up to 18 inches in some areas, with the highest amounts forecast in the San Gabriel Mountains.

Those roads may continue to be closed in the coming days as another storm that begins Sunday night and continues into Wednesday will bring even more rain and snow.
