Red Hot Chili Peppers fans left their Australian gigs disappointed after the band failed to perform one of their most iconic songs.

“When you go to a Red Hot Chilli Peppers concert and they don’t play Under the Bridge,” a woman wrote next to the video, pouting her lower lip.
“But Post Malone made a shoe and smashed the guitar,” she added in her caption.

Meanwhile, concertgoers in Brisbane wistfully sang their own version of the track as they made their way home from the concert on Sunday, January 29.
Fans piled into the packed train, singing, “The city I live in, the city of angels / Lonely as I am, together we cry.”

The tour Down Under includes shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Auckland and Dunedin, but the band will miss Adelaide, Hobart and Darwin.

In July, the Red Hot Chili Peppers announced that they would be touring Australia and New Zealand with Post Malone.
Due to popular demand, they added second shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
It’s been four years since Post Malone last played in Australia, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers haven’t toured Down Under since 2019.
