Ellen DeGeneres looked relaxed on a shopping trip to Summerland, California on Thursday.

The 65-year-old former talk show host may have been looking for additions recently purchased a seaside home in Carpinteria.

DeGeneres wore a green plaid top over a gray T-shirt and skinny gray jeans that matched her sneakers.

The Finding Nemo star carried a huge plastic bag stuffed with items and her blonde hair was cropped short. Dark sunglasses covered her eyes.

She was joined by a friend who wore a simple white sweater and pale blue jeans.

DeGeneres made the appearance a couple of months after she purchased a very expensive home in the area.

In December New York Post reported that DeGeneres and de Rossi purchased a home in Carpinteria, which is just south of Summerland.

They paid for a pair of properties next to each other, one for $40 million and the other for nearly $30 million.

The two properties when combined totaled 10 hectares. The publication also reported that $70 million was the highest paid for real estate in Santa Barbara.

Over the past year, DeGeneres and de Rossi have shown a keen interest in real estate, buying and selling a number of properties.

Ellen and Portia first met back in 2000 at a party, and de Rossi immediately fell in love with Ellen.

However, the couple did not start dating until several years later, partly because de Rossi was not gay at the time.

The couple married in 2008 after California legalized same-sex marriage and have been together ever since.

Degeneres and de Rossi they were seen in their new home saying “I do” again in front of a friend Kris Jenner who served as an officer, as well as Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and his wife Meghan Markle as guests when they renewed their promises.

Portia has been wearing her old wedding dress since she went to Ellen in 2008. Ellen was much more dressed down in a blue jacket and khaki pants with sneakers.

Ellen was surprised by the update, thinking she was just visiting Portia’s birthday celebration.

Ellen posted the video on her Instagram page.

“Porsha surprised me on her birthday by renewing our vows,” the comedienne wrote.

“Thank you @KrisJenner for judging and @BrandiCarlile for performing and Portia for being the greatest gift to me, even on your birthday.”

At one point, Ellen and Portia were seen holding hands as they looked into each other’s eyes. They also held white flowers with long stems.

The house was massive with high beamed ceilings, natural light wood floors, bleached wood cabinets and black and white contemporary paintings.

Keeping up with the Kardashians, producer and manager Kris Kardashian/Jenner was also spotted at the vow renewal as she officiated. She was reading from a piece of paper while watching the ceremony.

Jenner wore a white coat and black leather pants as she adjusted her glasses. Chris and Ellen have been close friends for decades.

Speaking in a video posted on Ellen’s YouTube channel on Thursday, Chris said: ‘These two were made for each other and Cory [Gamble] and I spent so much time with them as their friends, neighbors, cocktail buddies and late-night chats.

“These two are a couple of heads that continue to amaze me with how cute they are together. A match made in heaven. Two peas in a pod. Their love and affection for each other is amazing and it makes me so happy that they each have each other to love and cherish and grow old with.’
