A local real estate agent said the Kardashians are quietly taking over Hidden Hills with a slew of lavish mega-mansions.

And she thinks Kim’s ex Kanye West won’t be coming back to live in the gated Calabasas enclave while he builds a new life elsewhere.

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West in February 2021, and the couple officially parted ways 21 months later.

And when they finally agreed to a divorce, the couple split their assets.

At the time, their massive portfolio was worth about $100 million and included 21 homes in places like Idaho, Calabasas and Malibu.

But while Kim and Kanye were once known as the Calabasas power couple, after their divorce, Kim stayed with the kids at their family’s Hidden Hills mansion.

In September of that year, Kanye purchased a four-bed, four-and-a-half-bath Malibu beach house for $57.3 million.

He bought it in an off-market deal through his company, Shore Drive Holdings, and set to work almost immediately.

By December 2021, Kanye had also purchased a property in Hidden Hills, across the street from his then-estranged wife.

He told Hollywood Unlocked at the time, “My comfort comes from seeing my kids and having a solid schedule. That’s why I even got a house.’

And although the couple shared custody of their four children after their divorce, the music producer doesn’t seem to have settled down.

Since then, Kim has also purchased a vacation property in Malibu – a $70 million mansion that was previously owned by supermodel Cindy Crawford.

In an exclusive interview, West Coast real estate expert Stacey Franklin revealed what it all means to The US Sun.

She said, “The Kardashians may have decided to move to Calabasas in the first place because it’s very clean and has luxury properties.

“But it’s a completely different feeling when you’re physically inside the gates of Hidden Hills, where most of them now live.

“It is restricted and there are armed guards. Where Kim lives in Hidden Hills are sprawling ranch-style lots.

“The Kardashians dominate the Hidden Hills community now, but then they’re pretty much on the sidelines.

“It’s immaculate and every property has beautifully manicured surroundings.

“They keep quiet and keep to their family.”

As for Kanye, Stacey isn’t sure he’ll be back.

She says: “For Kanye, I can say that it’s not uncommon for wealthy people to own multiple houses.

“It’s also possible when he bought into Hidden Hills that he could be looking at the stability of his family life.

“Maybe he didn’t want to move his kids around unless he had to.

“But maybe he’s at a place in his life where he’s ready to start a new journey with his new wife somewhere else.

“Malibu is more exclusive and fashionable.

“It also offers freedom as it is close to the ocean and has a healing atmosphere.”

Kanye also hasn’t yet moved into his new bunker-style Malibu beach house with his new Australian wife Bianca Chensari.

The renovation was previously put on hold after Kanye said he had lost billions.

This followed anti-Semitic remarks he made online, which led to Adidas, Gap and Balenciaga dropping him.

The controversial rapper married Bianca in secret before moving into a luxury Malibu hotel.

In fact, a source recently told The US Sun that the newlyweds are staying at the Nobu Ryokan and that this is where Kanye is trying to get his life back on track.

“Maybe Kanye chose Malibu as a place to recharge,” says Stacey.

“This is where people come to start new businesses next to the ocean.

“There is fresh air, a quiet and clean environment, and the city is a stone’s throw away.

“He will have this new home where he and his new wife can build a new life.

“Malibu is an inspiring place, and for celebrities like Kanye, it’s a great place to get new ideas and transform.

“Malibu is a place, rather a secluded place, where you don’t have many neighbors.

“But where Kanye is going to live, some of these houses near him are not occupied year-round.”

The Kardashians own several huge properties in the Hidden Hills complex, which is also home to celebrities like Drake.

Kim’s current home, after major renovations, is worth about $60 million.

Kris Jenner moved to Hidden Hills in 2021 and has a mansion there worth about $20 million.

Next up is Khloe, who earned an estimated $17 million for her custom-made liner.

Kylie moved into her home in Hidden Hills in 2016.

Residents of the more than 650 properties reportedly love the glamorous Los Angeles neighborhood for its lack of sidewalks and streetlights.

“Hidden Hills, where Kim stayed, is kind of a cut off town,” Stacey adds.

“In order to gain access to this community, you must obtain permission from the property owner or representative and must show identification to enter.

“So even if you’re a real estate agent going to show a property, you have to have permission to enter from the owner.

“There is a mix of residents with celebrities and others who are not in the limelight.

“There are restrictions because residents have to protect themselves.

“The difference with Kanye would be that he’s maybe looking to not be in that kind of community anymore.

“Hidden Hills is very unlike any other community in the San Fernando Valley.”
