FC Monterey Bay starts its first home game at the Cardinal Stadium.

After FC Monterey Bay played seven away matches to start their first season, fans on Saturday congratulated the first professional football team on the Central Coast for its first home game. Longtime football fan Dan Devlin, who was dressed in Monterey Bay football club gear, said: “I think I have everything from the previous merchandise store. This is the house, this is Monterey, this is our community. Our players, our stadium. To be Frank Jalop and Ramira Corrales, both guys who were in San Jose, Ramiras from Salinas. I mean, it’s us. We are the Union! ” Fans ate delicious food on the day of the game and prepared their rally towels. They also took their first look at the recently renovated Cardinale Stadium, which has professional lighting, a FIFA-approved lawn and seats 6,000 fans. Representatives of the Monterey Bay football club said that 5038 fans were present at Saturday’s game. “I think they worked very well. The field looks great, and the stands, and all the colors, they worked great with the beer garden. I like how close we are to the field so we can see the players nearby, “said Brittany Silva. The locals also said that this place brings more to the Central Coast than just a game.” It’s huge. I mean nothing draws people together more than sports, in my opinion. So that’s what you know, young people can grow old and watch, ”Ryan Blackwell said.
