Four profanity-laced Cal students mock Spanish-speaking food vendor over $7 hot dogs
Four lewd women were caught on video harassing a San Diego food vendor over the price of his $7 hot dogs — with one even licking the food she didn’t buy.
The bullying video shows four young women – who appear to be the worst dressed – talking to a Spanish-speaking salesman, while one of the quartet calls him a loser.
The women, whose identities have not been confirmed, throw food around his cart, while another threatens: “If you take $7 from me, I’ll fuck you.”
The vendor, identified as Andres Arguelles Alvarez, initially remains calm and can be heard asking them to stop and stay away from his cart. According to witnesses, he did nothing to provoke the onslaught of violence.
At one point, one of the women can be seen picking up some of the ingredients before licking them off her fingers and then placing the cart back on the hot plate. Other women could also be seen grabbing and eating food on the hot stove and their unhygienic behavior prompted Alvarez to lash out at them.

“Can you move please?” Alvarez asks as the women laugh in his face.
“To be honest, she doesn’t do anything,” one of the women replies vaguely.
“We’re not doing anything,” protests another woman.
“But what if we want another hot dog, should we move? No, we shouldn’t!’ – loudly declares the loudest of the women. “Should we move sir? No, we shouldn’t!’ – she continues.
Another woman, who was relatively quiet, reached out to try to grab another piece of food, angering Alvarez.
‘Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey! Stop! he shouts, thrusting the tongs towards them, gesturing to the women to move away from his cart once and for all.

The students’ universities have now launched an investigation into the behavior of the four men, although they have so far refused to confirm the identity of any of those responsible for the harassment.
According to the LA Times, one of the women is a former student at Cal State San Marcos and the other is a former student.
The third woman who filmed the incident also studies there. California declined to release their names, but said the investigation was ongoing and condemned the behavior.
The altercation appears to have started when the women became disgruntled after learning the price of Alvarez’s $7 hot dogs.
The four demanded that Alvarez sell them at a lower price, which he refused and asked them to leave.
But the women had too much fun taunting the seller and started touching, throwing and eating the food being grilled.
“They grabbed my bacon, all my vegetables, everything I use,” Alvarez said Telemundo.

“People realized all the dirty things they were doing and it disgusted them. They no longer wanted to buy more.
“They realized I was Mexican, that I didn’t speak English well, and they thought, ‘Ah, we can attack him,'” Alvarez said.
One woman who witnessed the incident, Morgan McBrearty, said she saw the women “already there, harassing Andres.”
McBrearty said NBC News that she came forward to defend Alvarez “after I repeatedly heard and saw them talking to him in rude and condescending tones” and grabbing food from his cart.
But even before McBrearty left, “the girls kept going after him.”

The women showed no respect to the food vendor who finally had to raise his voice to get them to refuse

Another student who filmed the footage, Riley Kaufman, said Alvarez “didn’t do anything to provoke it.” It’s just that the girls came in angry, drunk and ready to start something.”
“The hot dog vendor is also the sweetest person,” Kaufman added.
San Diego State University released a statement saying it has not yet confirmed whether the other two students in the video were from SDSU, however an investigation is underway. “We are grateful to those who quickly reported this incident to the university. The actions of those in the video are upsetting and inappropriate.

Alvarez believes he may have been picked on because he is Mexican
“Although individual names have been circulated online, it has not yet been confirmed that those involved are SDSU students. SDSU’s Center for Student Rights and Responsibilities is reviewing the video and is asking anyone with specific information about what happened and anyone involved to come forward with information as soon as possible
“SDSU holds its community members to a standard of conduct regarding individual and public safety, and the behavior of those in the video does not reflect what we expect from members of our community.”
California State University San Marcos issued a similar statement, saying: “The actions in this video are deeply disrespectful to the provider and go against the values of the university and what we expect from members of our community,” said Margaret Chantung, a spokeswoman for Cal State. Marcos.
“Our Dean of Students is looking into this matter to more fully determine what happened.”
