Q: Tell us about your family

A: I am married. My wife’s name is Janet. I have three children: Deborah, Rob and Kathy.

Q: What do you do now?

: I was a general contractor in construction. I am now semi-retired.

Q: Why did you decide to run for office?

A: So that I can give back to the community.

Q: How do you get involved in the community?

A: Through my church. I am a member and elder of Fremont Presbyterian Church. I coached my kids in basketball, soccer and softball.

Q: What qualifies you for this position?

A: My business background. I have worked here all my life.

Q: What do you think are the top two issues in Dodge County (if running for City Council, the top two issues in Fremont) and how would you address them if elected?

: I would like the streets to be better, but I would not like to raise taxes for it. I’m 100% behind on first aid.

Q: What do you think the county (or city) could do better? why?

: When I get on the council, I will define it.

Q: What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?

A: Becoming a private pilot and raising three children.
