GABRIEL ROSADA was left furious after Gilberto Ramirez’s opponent weighed in almost a STONE heavy – causing their fight to be scrapped.
The semi-heavyweight pair was associated with a header on a Golden Boy shares cards in California.
But the fight faced uncertainty when it was rumored that Ramirez missed weight by 12lbs, just 2lbs shy of THE STONE.
In the end, the Mexican was found to have weighed 182.6 pounds, nearly 8 pounds over the 175-pound limit.
He saw that the fight dragged on, and Ramírez came under the caustic wrath of a devastated Rosado.
He said: “I’m here at the weigh-in, there are scales. It’s 11.52, I made my weight 173, Zurdo Ramirez came in at 187.
“The fight won’t happen, I’m sorry, but I was a professional, I came in, I did my job, he came out too heavy, 12 pounds over the weight limit.
“We gave him a delay of over two hours and he didn’t make weight, man. So the fight won’t happen, sorry.”
Rosado, veteran of 44 battlessuffered three losses in a row and wanted to recover by moving up in weight.
While the former super middleweight champion, Ramirez, 31, lost the title to undefeated Dmitriy Bival, 32, in November.

He was forced to apologize to 37-year-old Rosada after suffering a horrendous weight loss.
Ramirez wrote on Instagram: “I have never missed weight in my 45 professional fights.
“This is the first and last time. I’ve always prided myself on being a professional, but today wasn’t the best moment.
“On that note, I would like to apologize to all my fans, supporters, Golden Boy Promotions and DAZN for this unfortunate incident.
“I never gave up trying to gain weight, cutting down to the last minute, but I just couldn’t lose enough to reach my cut weight.
“I am embarrassed and saddened by my actions and promise it will never happen again. I’ll make the right adjustments and be back soon.”
