Perhaps this is the most incredible mistake of the year – and this says something – the former president George W. Bush tried to aim Vladimir Putinand it boomeranged down on him.
W. spoke at the George W. Bush Institute at the SMU when he was outraged by Putin’s invasion of Ukraine … he tried to say that the war was the brainchild of a tyrant who brazenly invaded a neighboring country without any excuse. But here’s how it turned out … “Political opponents go to jail or otherwise deviate from the electoral process. The result is a lack of checks and balances in Russia and one man’s decision to launch a completely unwarranted and brutal invasion of Iraq.”
Well, he quickly recovered by saying “I mean Ukraine” and then just shrugged.
As you know, Bush launched the American invasion of Iraq in 2003 under the pretext Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction … there were no such weapons, but there was a lot of destruction as a result of US aggression.
And now look at this … if you listen carefully, after Bush recovers, he says, “Iraq, too.” This is an incredible statement because it puts him in the place of the aggressor without excuse.
And then he laughs, saying, “75” is his age.
If we talk about age, then it is forever.
