SAN DIEGO (CUSI) – Gov. Gavin News presented a $ 18.1 billion anti-inflation plan.

The governor said the goal is to get immediate relief to residents as the state has been inundated with record high gas prices.

This comes after news that the budget surplus is approaching $ 100 billion.

The proposal aims to refund taxes to fight inflation, help with emergency rent, funding to help Californians pay arrears on utilities, fund hospitals and nursing home staff, free public transportation, make health insurance more affordable, suspend diesel sales and waiver of childcare fees for low-income families.
