Helen Hunt and her longtime pal Jeffrey Nordling were spotted taking a leisurely stroll through the picturesque Santa Monica neighborhood with their dogs on Thursday afternoon.

Walking down the sidewalk together, the Oscar winner, 59, and the Big Little Lies star, 61, who previously starred together in 1988’s Shooter, chatted as they enjoyed the sunshine after a few cold and rainy days on the south California.

For her casual outing, the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun actress kept her look casual in a comfy black long sleeve top, matching drawstring sweatpants, tiny retro shades, a long silver pendant and gray UGG boots.

The mother-of-one kept her beloved black and white puppy Eddie on a leash as Nordling walked her second dog, Emma.

He chose a light heather gray hoodie, dark jeans and sneakers with bright blue laces.

Friends later attended a screening of The Waterdance and River’s Edge at The Aero, which included a Q&A with directors Michael Steinberg and Tim Hunter, as well as Hunt.

Filmmakers Sarah Pillsbury and Midge Sanford were in attendance to give a special presentation honoring director Neil Jimenez.

On Friday morning, Hunt posted a photo of herself outside an independent movie theater with Steinberg, 63.

“What a wonderful night. To honor #neiljimenez in this way, to see his work & hear from @cine_fix how prolific he is & to be reminded how beautiful #TheWaterdance & #River’sEdge are,” she captioned the image.

She also posted several pictures of Nordling on stage with Steinberg and footage of the rowdy crowd inside before the panel began.

Nordling is married to actress Francia Dimas, who is the mother of his twin daughters Eloise and Miranda, both 27, and 20-year-old Iris.

Meanwhile, Helen shares her 18-year-old daughter Makena Leigh Gordon with ex Matthew Carnahan.

Hunt began her show business career as a television actress, appearing as a guest star on shows such as The Bionic Woman with Lindsey Wagner and Swiss Family Robinson.

Close: Nordling and Hunt have been close friends for years and she often appears on his Instagram

She then moved on to Crazy About You, which aired from 1992 to 1999. The show brought her huge popularity and an Emmy Award.

Nordling is best known for his roles as Gordon Klein on Big Little Lies and Nick Bohlen on Desperate Housewives.

He also starred in Body of Proof as Dana Delaney’s ex-husband and the FX series Dirt alongside Courteney Cox.
