Human skull, remains found in desert near I-15 in Barstow – VVNG.com

Barstow, CA (VVNG.com) – The remains of a man, including a skull, were found in the desert by a man walking a dog near the I-15 highway in Barstov.

It happened on Friday, May 13, 2022, around 6:27 pm east of the freeway and south of Arbuckle Street.

According to a press release, the incident was initially reported to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, and the deputy responded. The deputy arrived at the scene, saw that the remains were in the city, and turned to the Barstau police department.

Officer Alexander Mua arrived on the scene and inspected the remains, including a human skull.

Detectives and officers of the Barstau Police Department arrived at the scene and undertook the investigation.

“The scene was located in a sparsely visited desert area between Outlet Center Drive and the I15 motorway. Detectives found several personal belongings in the man’s camp, ”the statement reads.

The deputy coroner of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department went to the scene and determined that there were no signs of a skull injury. No human remains have been identified at the time of writing.
