“Guess, guess, guess! I’ve opened a Shopify store selling sweatshirts, t-shirts, mugs and tote bags featuring my original artwork to raise funds for animal welfare,” her caption read.

‘ Next year, 100% of the proceeds from each sale will go to my foundation @jasonheiglfoundation, where a portion of the money goes to needy abandoned, neglected or abused animals.

“I got @joshbkelley to do a sexy ad campaign with me (because you know…sex sells) wearing some of my models.

“So take a look around the store and if you see something you like… BUY IT!

And know that not only are you getting a cool product, but you’re also helping an animal in need. I like to call it art with a heart! So thank you in advance.”

In September, she took the unusual step of sharing a family photo on Instagram.

The cute shot was taken at home, featuring not only the star’s husband, Kelly, but all three of their children as well.

“From our family to yours”, the actress who starred in the series Grey’s Anatomy and blockbuster films such as ‘Nabradak’ and ’27 Dresses,’ the post caption read.

Her children are her non-biological daughter, Nancy Lee Mi-Yoon, 13, who was adopted from South Korea at the age of nine months.

The country holds a place in her heart: Catherine’s older sister, Meg, was also adopted from South Korea.

She also has a daughter, Adalaide Marie Hope, 10, who was adopted in the country in 2012.

And Kathryn and Josh have a biological son, Joshua Bishop Jr., who is five.

“I just believed that love is love – it doesn’t matter what we look like,” the Firefly Lane actor told his parents.

“But then when I asked my sister Meg if she was treated the same way when she was out in public without our parents and differently when she was alone without them, she said, ‘Oh, yes, all the time. !”

“It made me realize how naive I was.”

At first, the star was “angry” with herself.

“But I had to calm down and realize, okay, it’s not about how I feel,” she explained.

“It’s about how I need to protect my daughters and prepare them for the world because I can’t change society in one fell swoop.”

She said the food contains “trendy” herbal supplements that she incorporated into the formula during an interview with People in August.

During the sit-down, the 27 Dresses actress talked about the different aspects of her new venture and explained why she decided to get into the pet food industry.

The actress and known dog lover’s products were made available to the public last month.

Heigl began by talking about how her interest in dog food was partly inspired by her research into healthy living.

She recalled that when she “became more and more aware of gut health and nutrition and the connection between our gut and our brain … and I thought, ‘Well, why is this different?’ How different is it for our animals?”

The “Grey’s Anatomy” actress then revealed that she’s been trying to cook food for her dogs and testing out “human-level” meal plans for her pets.

The Primetime Emmy Award-winning performer noted that she set out to create a dog food with “the healthiest therapeutic nutrition possible.”

Heigl also enjoyed the “trendy” herbal supplements she incorporated into the formula, including lion’s mane mushroom.

“People put it in their coffee, in their smoothies,” she said of the plant-based adaptogens that make up her formula. “We can give the dog some of that extra help, too.”

The performer also emphasized that sales of her products will benefit the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, which she previously founded with her mother.

The foundation aims to raise awareness of pet issues in the United States, including cruelty, which she described as “a huge problem in our country for these companion animals.”

Heigl added that “food is a beacon of hope for us financially to try to continue the work that we’re doing.”

The singer also said she wants to branch out in terms of Badlands Ranch products.

“I wish we added supplements for things like anxiety. We see…a lot of these dogs that come out of a shelter or a kennel where their anxiety is very high,” she said.

Heigl also revealed that she has a total of nine dogs at home, including two Rottweiler puppies that she is currently fostering.

The actress has appeared in several promotional images for her brand, which have been shared on her official Instagram account.
