Fans later commented on the video to give credit. One wrote: “Damn. Loved him. Death can be as quick as turning off the lights for anyone. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is how you treat people. I’ll remember you with a smile on my face, so you did well mate, you did well.’

Another typed: “I can’t believe you’re gone, gone so suddenly, so young.” We will never forget you, you were and will always be great. Rest in peace’.

While a third follower echoed, “They knew, those dogs; I tell you. RIP, a hero to many, a defender of all as I know him, and to an actor whose heart carried his work.’

Lance was in the middle of a promotional tour for his John Wick franchise, in which he played the role of concierge Charon.

Just a day before his tragic death, he uploaded a photo of himself curled up with his three dogs at home in an Instagram post promoting Hard Rock Hotels and National Puppy Day.

He was supposed to attend the premiere of Vic 4 with co-star Keanu Reeves on Wednesday night, but was a no-show. Redick did not explain his absence.

He was also reportedly scheduled to appear on The Kelly Clarkson Show next week.
