Latto Brings Stacey Abrams to Stage, ‘It Takes a Lot of Energy’ in the GA Governor’s Race

Stacey Abrams is relying on her celebrity connections to drum up support in the run-up to the election – which landed her on stage with lotto to deliver a message on abortion rights in Georgia.
The gubernatorial candidate performed during Latto’s Saturday night concert in ATL, and it was no coincidence that she came out as the rapper performed “Pussy” … the anthem she wrote after the Supreme Court. overruled by Roe v. Wade.
Abrams tossed around with stunt doubles as Lato did her thing — all the while holding a “My Body, My Choice” sign above her head.
When the song ended, she got up to the microphone and told the crowd … “I just want to remind you that if you believe in my body, my choice, I need your vote,” Abrams said.
Playing to the crowd, Abrams referenced mega-hit Latto as she shouted, “I need your high energy. Give her!”

Last week, Abrams debated her opponent, the current governor of Georgia Brian Kempand early voting has already opened in that state.
Expect to see Abrams at several celebrity events in the next couple of weeks — she already has Oprah rooting for her in the Peach State.
