
Maggie Peterson of The Andy Griffith Show has died at the age of 88
Maggie Peterson, who played Charlene Darling in The Andy Griffith Show, died Sunday, her official said in a statement. Facebook page.
The statement said Peterson was in health after her husband’s death.
“We are pleased to have been able to move her home to be with her family in recent days,” the statement said.
In addition to The Andy Griffith Show, Peterson has also appeared in The Green Acres and The Amazing Couple.
Peterson, a Colorado native, lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, her family said.
According to the family, a service in honor of Peterson’s life will be held in the next few weeks.
Peterson was 88 years old.
