Officials wrote to the Californian couple with a request to come to the ceremony in Westminster Abbey in less than nine weeks.

But Harry38 and Megan41, said an “immediate decision” on whether they would make the 5,000-mile trip “will not be revealed.”

This means organizers are forced to wait before hearing whether any of the family of four will be performing at the party.

If the Sussexes do decide to make the trip, they are expected to play no official role in the ceremony, where Charles74, and Camila75, will be crowned next to each other.

It is believed that this will not be a hindrance, as the Sussexes were holding a first birthday party Lilibet at Frogmore Cottage during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee last June.
