Not sure what will be on the ballot and who to vote for? You are lucky.
The Voice of San Diego team has put together a handy guide that breaks down major local races, including the county sheriff’s race and Chula Vista’s important decision about his next mayor. We also received details of major legislative races, such as the battle in the 80th District of the Assembly between former city council members (and at least former allies) David Alvarez and Georgette Gomez.

The chairman of the Demo Party is going on leave after being accused of sexual abuse
Will Rodriguez-Kennedy, chairman of the San Diego County Democratic Party, has agreed to leave the party after allegations of sexual abuse.
У latest political reportScott Lewis and Andrew Keats write that we do not know the details of the charges, but on Facebook postRodriguez-Kennedy meant it was a statement about sexual harassment or sexual violence.
Rodriguez Kennedy in 2019 won $ 150,000 in settling his lawsuit against Eric Bowman, a former state party chairman against whom he accused of sexual abuse. The party paid $ 380,000 to settle the lawsuit against Bauman.
More policies: Lewis and Keats also looked at how local candidates compare in the money race. They have a common fundraiser for candidates in the race for mayor of Chula Vista, the sheriff’s race and the battles of the San Diego City Council. (Recall, we prefer cash without debt as the second data point on these charts. Even if a candidate borrows money, it doesn’t necessarily mean they will spend it.) Lewis and Keats break some of the races we watch with some joyful charts .
