Star recently scolded a “creepy” fan for groping his bottom when he agreed to take a picture with her.

Although he considered most encounters with his fans to be “very good,” there were times when he felt uncomfortable.

He talked about a recent incident when a woman asked for his photo outside the Almeida Theater in London, where he was filming A Streetcar Named Desire.

He recalled to ES magazine: “When we were posing, she put her hand on my **.

“I thought it was a fluke, that’s how I like it [moved away] but the hand followed him. I remember tensing up and feeling angry.

“I turned to her and said, ‘What are you doing?’ Take your hand off my **”.

“The last thing I wanted to do was call someone out in front of the theater — it’s awkward for everyone involved — but it really wasn’t okay. It was so disgusting, horrible.

97 percent [fame] it’s really nice – then the three percent is someone, like, grabbed you by the **.”

Paul became a household name when he starred as Connell in the 2020 TV adaptation of Sally Rooney’s novel Normal People, and he admitted he found the attention “a bit insulting” and that he was uncomfortable being seen as a heartthrob.

He said: “Like I had a woman who said she had a nude picture of me on her phone, a screenshot from the show, as her phone wallpaper. And it pissed me off—she said she wasn’t doing it to get hot, I think she was honestly trying to tell me she was a big fan, but it was really weird. I didn’t like it.

“When Normal People came out, the attention was a bit outrageous.

“It was like, ‘This is crazy.’ I’m a little more comfortable with it now.
