The boy who became famous after a selfie with Justin Timberlake was arrested by the police during the Super Bowl in 2018 Florida after a drunken argument.
Ryan McKenna, 18, was caught on video being tackled to the ground by sheriff’s deputies as they tried to handcuff him outside a California pizza joint in Naples.
According to an incident report viewed on TMZ.
Video of the incident showed three officers trying to restrain Makena until one grabbed his left leg, lifted it into the air and knocked him to the ground.
He was then taken to the Naples Detention Center and charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and two misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest and obstructing an officer.

On February 11, 18-year-old Ryan McKenna was arrested and taken to the Naples Detention Center, where he was charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and obstructing an officer.
McKenna became a social media sensation at the age of 13 after taking a selfie with Justin Timberlake during the Super Bowl LII halftime show.
Shortly after the viral incident, he appeared on Good Morning America, where he said his phone was “exploding” with messages and phone calls, and excitedly described how he had gained more than 8,000 followers on social media overnight.
Since being dubbed the Selfie Kid, McKenna has become increasingly famous for taking more selfies with various celebrities and has amassed nearly half a million followers on Instagram.
Discussing his recent arrest in Florida, his mother told TMZ that he wasn’t drunk, he was just messing around with friends and that a friend pulled a chair under him.
According to the report on the incident, which was reviewed by the publication, on the evening of February 11, the police responded to a report that a man was drunk and had beaten his friend.
When police arrived, officers said the 15-year-old boy told them he was friends with McKenna, but the two got into an argument.
The argument continued to escalate until McKenna stood up and aggressively pushed a California Pizza Kitchen table and began yelling profanities at the boy’s girlfriend.
Cops say they were talking to the 15-year-old when McKenna aggressively intervened, but he was eventually taken aside and allowed to calm down.
Mall security asked Makena to be escorted off the property, but officers say his behavior became aggressive when he tried to approach the boy again.

In the video, the officer can be heard yelling, “Hands behind your back.” You are under arrest now,” before another lifted his leg and knocked him to the ground

The video also shows Makena being knocked to the ground and turned face down. As he lay on the ground, he could be heard telling them, “Stop, stop.”

Police say they then placed their hands on McKenna’s chest to prevent him from confronting the 15-year-old, but he grabbed the officers’ hands and removed them from his chest.
In the video, the officer can be heard yelling, “Hands behind your back.” Now they are arresting you.”
They say, then they tried to detain him by handcuffing him, but, they say, he resisted and demanded to be thrown to the ground.
The video also shows Makena being knocked to the ground and turned face down. As he lay on the ground, he could be heard telling them, “Stop, stop.”
