A car plunged 100 feet off Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles and crashed into a tree, California fire officials said.

California firefighters said a car plunged 100 feet from a cliff in Los Angeles and crashed into a tree.

The woman suffered “minimally” serious injuries in a crash at 5:21 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, on Mulholland Drive, the Los Angeles Fire Department said in a statement.

Her car was found backed up against a tree and was not stable, firefighters said.

The 35-year-old woman was found outside the vehicle, KABC reported.

Fire helicopter – raised the woman from the wreck and took her to the hospital, KTTV reported.

Firefighters closed Mulholland Drive from Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Coldwater Canyon Avenue during the rescue, according to the release.
