The illegal show attracts the crowd, the police in Salinas

Read Time:2 Minute, 44 Second

An illegal show took place behind the Salinas mall on Sunday night around 8:30 p.m. Salinas police say they have received several complaints about shows in the area. Several locals say Sunday night was attended by 50 to 100 people in the back parking lot of the mall, right on the corner of East Blanca Road and South Main Street. Kino, a store employee who saw the incident, said: “One car worked like a burnout, it had all sides and traffic, and I thought there would be an accident, but he managed to avoid it. People were driving on the wrong side of the street to get out of the parking lot. So I had to stop to let them out, and then I drove into the back of the parking lot. ”Several neighbors nearby tell Action News 8 that it took several months in this parking lot. They say they are tired of hearing the loud sounds of car exhaust and the squeak of tires, and they want the police to crack down. Although Salinas police say they are unable to respond as quickly as they would like due to low staff numbers, there is still a goal to put an end to them. They emphasize to everyone involved that it can easily lose a car. “It doesn’t necessarily have to be when the production is going on. We can get a court order that will allow us to contact the owner of the registered vehicle later, and if we can identify the vehicle involved, we can tow it, ”Miguel Cabrera told Salinas police.
