A new interactive map shows the average home price for every community between Monteca and Merced.

The map, based on data from national real estate company Zillow, shows the median home price in Stanislaus County and the Modesto region. There are updated values for Turlock, Ripon, Ceres, Livingston, Riverbank and Oakdale.

Some of the more expensive real estate is in southern San Joaquin County. Tiny Crows Landing has the highest median home value in the region at about $850,000.

California is in the midst of a real estate downturn as skyrocketing mortgage rates have forced many potential buyers to think twice about entering the market. However, in the Stanislaus district, housing prices remain fairly stable, with a slight drop recorded in August.
