The Powerball jackpot for Monday’s drawing was the eighth largest in history

Monday’s Powerball drawing was the largest ever, reaching a projected jackpot of $610 million.

The jackpot increased after no one picked all six numbers in Saturday’s $580 million drawing.

The odds of winning the jackpot are approximately 1 in 292 million. In 2022, 4 winning Powerball tickets were sold

The Powerball jackpot has increased since the winning ticket went on sale on August 3rd.

Powerball also has prizes ranging from $4 million to $1 million. The odds of winning the smaller prize are approximately 1 in 25.

Powerball is played in 45 states and Washington, D.C. Monday’s largest Powerball jackpot since the January 20, 2021 winning ticket was purchased in Maryland. This jackpot paid out $731 million.

Powerball drawings are held on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays.
