Last week, the Red Hot Chili Peppers were slammed for being on their own Sydney concert on February 2.
and it seems California rockers responded to the criticism by performing in Melbourne on Wednesday night with a much different set list.
The band cut several songs from their new albums and replaced them with their huge 90s hits like Suck My Kiss and Under the Bridge.

They left the packed crowd begging for more as they delivered an energetic performance with an engrossing set that paid tribute to their past and present.
The Californication hitmakers took to Instagram to share a photo of their Melbourne gig setlist and fans have gone wild over the brilliant song selection.
One fan said: “Amazing set! Couldn’t have asked for better,” while another subscriber said “these songs are perfect.”

It comes after Australian fans walked out of the show disappointed after the band failed to perform one of their most iconic songs.
The veteran rockers dropped Under the Bridge from their setlist during shows in Brisbane and Sydney as they kicked off their Australian tour with Post Malone.
Fans in Sydney left the Accor Stadium in a state of misery on Thursday night, with one devastated fan taking to TikTok to complain.

“When you go to a Red Hot Chilli Peppers concert and they don’t play Under the Bridge,” a woman wrote next to the video, pouting her bottom lip.
Fans also expressed their frustration on Facebook, writing: “I wish I could reverse my decision to go to RHCP. Absolutely disappointed with this performance.”
“Well that was disappointing, definitely won’t be seeing them again!!!” – said another.
The band are currently touring the country with rapper Post Malone and will be back in Melbourne on Thursday 9th February and Perth on Sunday 12th February.
