Blame it on Halloween or Netflix or both … but a Texas pizza joint is cutting out some of the grossness Jeffrey Dahmer charm – which irritates some and engages others.

Capital Pizza in Lubbock is now proudly displaying an almost-literally-hot mash — it’s called “Jeffrey Dahmer’s Special.” Yes, it’s a finger and an eyeball surrounded by what looks like blood and guts.

It’s not real, of course, but the images alone make some people lose their appetite. manager, Kiefer Slasher-Davidsontells TMZ … one of its servers came up with the concept in honor of Halloween and the wildly popular Netflix series.

He says the pie is just ramen noodles, a side of pepperoncini…along with body parts and lots of fake blood. Although it’s not on the menu – it’s just a prop in the pizzeria’s window – many customers have complained about its bad taste.

The manager says it’s been up for about 3 weeks and although they’ve had complaints, many other customers love it – coming in to have their kids take pictures with the display. It’s a terrible season, after all.

However, the marketing move is in the middle a lot of controversy over Dahmer’s being noted as some a kind of folk hero — instead of a mass-murdering monster — is encouraged by Netflix, which tells his story in what many consider a very sympathetic light.
