UCLA Update: The Bruins suffered their first loss of the season in a 45-30 loss at No. 10 Oregon, dropping to No. 12 in the AP Top 25. After three straight games against top-15 teams, the only opponent for the University of California at Los Angeles, which remains ranked, is No. 10 USC on Nov. 19. … UCLA’s offense scored on six of its eight possessions but struggled in the red zone and its defense allowed more than 500 yards of total offense for the first time this season. … Running back Zach Charbonnet recorded his third straight 100-yard game and wide receiver Jake Bobo his second straight 100-yard game.

Stanford Update: The Cardinal snapped a 10-game losing streak in conference play with a 15-14 home win over Arizona State. Perfect kicker Joshua Carty, who is perfect this season, made five field goals, including the eventual game-winner with 6:28 left in the fourth quarter. … Quarterback Tanner McKee completed a career-high 33 of 57 passes for 320 yards, but the Cardinal did not record a touchdown Saturday. John Humphries led Stanford receivers with eight catches for 90 yards. … Stanford comes into the Rose Bowl on a two-game minigame, beating Notre Dame on the road two weeks ago before coming from behind to win against Arizona State.
