37 suspects arrested during Operation Consequences week from October 16 to 21 – VVNG.com

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (VVNG.com) — Officials said they arrested 37 suspects on felony charges during the latest round of Operation Aftermath, a targeted crime-fighting operation focused on the Victor Valley and surrounding areas.

Between October 16, 2022 and October 21, 2022, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office Gang and Narcotics Unit investigators, along with patrol officers, served 17 search warrants at various locations in Rialto, Apple Valley, Victorville, Highland , Yucaipa, San Bernardino, Colton and Rancho Cucamonga.

During the service of search warrants and additional contacts over a week-long period, investigators seized 29 firearms, 11 of which were non-serial (ghost guns), discovered illegal drugs and made 37 felony arrests.

The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors has allocated funds to help fight crime in the county. The intent is to provide additional funding to the Sheriff’s Department that will allow for increased law enforcement services related to quality of life issues affecting the communities in our county.

Operation Aftermath will focus on conducting targeted crime suppression operations in the High Desert and Sheriff’s jurisdiction around the city of San Bernardino.

The operation will include officers from the Sheriff’s Gang/Narcotics Division, the Special Enforcement Unit and Patrol Stations, as well as the California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Probation.

Operation Aftermath will be carried out over the next few months to stop violent crime and to disrupt and dismantle targeted criminal street gangs.
