Blue Shield and Aspire debut new HMO option
Blue Shield of California and Aspire Health have announced their first health plan for Monterey County. The new offering is called “Trio HMO,” a plan that the health insurance giants describe as having a lower monthly premium than most preferred provider organization plans. Trio HMO includes features such as concierge services, no co-pays for virtual medical and behavioral appointments, and transportation support. The plan builds on Blue Shield Health Reimagined, which debuted in 2020 to address health disparities among underserved communities.

Blue Shield of California and Aspire Health have announced their first health plan for Monterey County.
